Directions
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 cups water
6 green bananas
1. Wash the bananas thoroughly
2. Cut off both ends of the bananas
3. Score the skin by cutting from one end to the other end of each banana
4. Add the water, vegetable oil (this will prevent the bananas from turning brown) and salt to the pot
5. Bring to a boil and add the bananas. Cook for 20 minutes
6. Discard the skins (the skin should come off easily after cooking) and serve warm
