Ingredients
Directions
2 oz. (56 grams) Irish Moss
1/8 oz. (4 grams) Isinglass
1/2 oz. (14 grams) Gum Arabic
1 oz. (28 grams) Linseed
96 oz. (12 cups) Water
1 can (380 mL) Condensed Milk, or Sweeten To Taste
1/2 cup Sugar, or Sweeten To Taste
3 tbsp. Vanilla Extract
3 tbsp. Nutmeg Powder
1. Wash the moss in cold water to remove sand, salt or foreign matter
2. Bring water to a boil and then add irish moss, linseed, isinglass and gum arabic
3. Let the ingredients cook until everything is dissolved, except the the irish moss and linseed. This will take about an hour
4. Strain the drink into another container, separating the boiled irish moss trash and linseed from the drink
5. Add the nutmeg, vanilla extract, sugar and condensed milk to the drink
6. Place the drink in the refrigerator for 4 hours
7. Because the thickness of this drink can vary, you may have to dilute as you see fit
