Directions
15 cups water
1 (2 pound) whole chicken
2 ears of corn, husked and cleaned
1/2 cup chopped carrot
1 cup of all purpose flour
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
1 stalk of scallion (or green onion), chopped
2 tablespoon powdered garlic or 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
2 tablespoon powdered meat seasoning
1 cup chopped yellow yam
1/2 cup chopped chayote
1 (1 pound) pumpkin or squash
1 pack Grace cock soup mix
1. Add 15 cups of water to the pot and bring to a boil
2. Peel the pumpkin or squash and slice in half
3. Remove skin from chicken, chop chicken into chunks and rinse
4. Make flour in a dough and make some dumplings
5. Add ingredients (except Grace cock soup mix) and dumplings to the pot of boiling water, cook for 45 minutes
6. Remove pumpkin or squash after 15 minutes, crush and add back to soup
7. Stir the pot
8. Add Grace cock soup mix after 30 minutes (15 minutes from the end) and reduce heat and simmer
9. Stir the pot every 5 minutes (3 times within the last 15 minutes)
